Make sure to see Sweden’s largest winter event on site. Experience the competitions — feel the breeze, snow and adrenaline! Starting today, 20 April 2018, all different ticket categories are available and on sale for the Åre 2019 Championships to be held from 5-17 February 2019 via

True to Åre 2019’s vision to “inspire the world to ski,” a valid ski pass for the SkiStar resort in Åre will also be valid as a general admission ticket to the Championships. This applies equally to a day’s lift ticket and a season pass for the Åre resort. The ski pass will allow entrance through a designated gate to a specific part of the finish area.

– We want as many visitors as possible to both go skiing and watch the races and be inspired by seeing the world’s top skiers race during their visit to Åre next February, stated Niklas Carlsson, CEO of Åre 2019.

The general admission tickets are priced from 290 Swedish crowns (excluding service fees). Tickets for children up to the age of 16 are available from 155 Swedish crowns, while children aged 6 or younger are free of charge.

– We expect 120 000 visitors during the eleven competition days. With many of them watching the races in the National Arena, we are looking forward to a fantastic atmosphere that will excite both the fans and racers alike, added Carlsson.

Tickets for the grandstand were launched at the end of January. There are approximately 3500 grandstand tickets available per competition day. The tickets in greatest demand so far have been those for the ladies’ and men’s downhill competitions on the first weekend and the men’s and ladies’ slalom on the final weekend. The grandstand tickets cost 425 Swedish crowns (excluding service fees).

Approximately 10% of the tickets (11 700) have been sold so far, with the sales expected to peak from October/November 2018. The daily competition starting times have yet to be confirmed but will be published in May 2018.
