Christmas is around the corner now and as we all know, it is often hard to decide what would make our dearest especially happy. The good news is that we have an idea for you if you are looking for something really special!

The Audi FIS Ski World Cup Stockholm (www.worldcupstockholm.com) has delivered a thrilling, sold-out alpine party at Hammarbybacken both in 2016 and 2017. Tuesday, 30 January 2018 is the next chance to experience the magic and there are still some tickets left.

The Swedish successes in parallel slalom have made the city event into a fan favorite and the setting at Hammarbybacken will leave lasting memories for the public and racers alike. In 2018, the FIS World Cup Stockholm City Event will be the final competition before the opening of the Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, on 9 February.

– It is one of the most fun competitions we have all season and there is something special with the City Events: It is a great experience to see live on-site, says Frida Hansdotter, who finished second at Hammarbybacken in 2016.

Parallel slalom is one of Hansdotter’s strongest events and her experiences with racing on home snow at Hammarbybacken have been terrific:

– There is so much going on, the event is really fast-paced; similar to a concert. The atmosphere is fantastic so I really encourage everyone to take the chance and come see the world’s best slalom racers in action.
